Wango's Purple Tent

Wango's Purple Tent

Wango's Purple Tent is a unique structure, bringing a sense of special occasion to any event.

Designed initially in 1998, the tent has now been seen around the UK and Europe at many well known festivals and public places. The tent was really put on the map in 2003, when it was used for the speakers podium at the Stop the War march and demonstration in Hyde Park, attended by nearly 1 million people.

Famous names like Jesse Jackson, Harold Pinter, the Dalai Lama and Tony Benn have all graced the Purple Tent, as well as bands such as Alice Cooper, Blondie, Meatloaf and Madness.
