Flash can be used for all kinds of media and applications. Technical and database use as well as art and video based media. It is the best tool for animating on the web....try not to get frustrated about how much you don't know, you'll pick it up steadily, and you'd be surprised by how much you can achieve with just a little bit of knowledge.
The different versions of Flash:
It's worth knowing that Flash comes in various versions. Flash 5 is probably the oldest version you'll come across, but then there's Flash MX, Flash MX 2004, and finally Studio 8. NONE of these versions are 'backwards compatible'. This means, if you open an older file in a newer version and save it, you won't be able to open it in the older software. SO BE CAREFUL which software you use.Download Tutorials:
