The GDK 16 Digital Telephone System incorporates state of the art
technology to give you complete control over your communications,
as well as providing access to ISDN [Integrated Service Digital
Network] which is already bringing advantages to many larger users.
The GDK 16 offers the benefits of ISDN2 to companies who have smaller
system requirements, and is ideal for satellite offices or for resiential
applications.
The GDK 16 provides cost effective access to the digital network
offering faster and more effective communication. The GDK 16 will
support up to 12 extensions with an additional 4 extensions available
by using the Extra Device Port and the ISDN S-bus for ISDN applications
such as Internet and Video Conference units.

- Alarm Signal recognizes the status of an external contact,
and sends an alarm signal to assigned extensions
- Differential Ringing for up to 4 extensions
- Background Music from either external or internal sources
can be played over the key telephone speaker while the extension
is idle
- Automatic Privacy ensures that all communications stay
private
- Idle Line Selection means that extensions can be programmed
to perform specific functions as soon as they go off-hook
or at specific times
