Seminar Lecturers

The seminar is being led by two Lecturers from the Faculty of Computing at London Met - Pen Lister (MSc Dist, PGCert LTHE) and Janet Gordon (BSC Hon, PGCert LTHE), who while not working for the university are both busy in relevant areas of business and enterprise using online technologies. Pen specialises in web design and development, working with a range of technology including web and multimedia. Janet specialises in online promotion campaigns using digital and social media, specifically within the music business.

Resources

We have developed a series of presentations concerning how to best approach developing an online business presence, and how to utilize open source (free) and web 2.0 technology for the benefit of increasing your online profile and ultimately your bank balance! The website contains various online resources available to freelancers and small businesses who have limited budgets and less time to devote to their online activities so need efficient and reliable solutions to help them develop a good website and other beneficial aspects like marketing and promotion campaigns or e-commerce.
